Residual waste comes in many types and forms. Including as a liquid. In our water treatment plant – the waste water factory – waste water from the chemical industry is incinerated so the environmentally-harmful substances are broken down by the high temperatures.

The incineration creates flue gases and waste water. We convert the heat from the flue gases into steam that is then reused in the form of district heat. The waste water also contains scarce metals that we recover and recycle.
